It's almost a national holiday in Denmark when the Christmas beer arrives in stores, restaurants, and bars. Today, November 5th at 8:59pm, Tuborg beer officially rings in the holiday season. They've used this ad campaign since 1980-1981 making it a regular Christmas tradition.
I took these photos today in Copenhagen where all the bars and mini markets were hanging signs and decorating for the big event tonight.
It's hard to see, but in the last photo it appears that Santa is holding a draught beer while driving his sleigh. Interesting.
This special Christmas brew is only available for six weeks.
